4444My name’s Ultrich from Cologne, I’m 36 years old and I’m willing to opt in to your association. I think it’s worth working shoulder-to-shoulder to thrive.

PART 3 You are a new member of the ‘Environmental Forum’ and you are in the chat room. You are talking to Nathan, an old member of this forum. Talk to him using complete sentences. Use 30 to 40 words per answer. You have 10 minutes.

Carlos: Hello, I’ve just seen you’re a German teacher. I teach Spanish. Could you tell me what your methodology is?

You

Hi Carlos, what have you been up to? I work, above all on the Internet. Skype comes in handy for working online. On the other hand, Google Drive works wonders and lets me correct and share folders.

Carlos: Do you work with groups or individually?

You:

To my mind, more than two is a crowd. Hence, I never overtake this number. However, in the past, I tried it with groups with unsatisfactory results, which made me come around to other opinions.

Carlos: In which way do you think this association could help us

You:

I’m sure we could lay the background for a future legal association that backed up entrepreneurs. Besides, it could encourage other people to run their projects. In summary, it could be a place for us to grab onto.

PART 4 You are a member of ‘the Entrepreneurs forum’. You’ve just seen the new bellow:

Dear members,

We are sorry to inform you that our Chief has stepped down on account of personal reasons.

We are looking for a person who can stand in for him. Please send your candidature to support@entrepreneuforum.com

Write an email to a fellow-member explaining what has happened. Write your feelings about the message you received and suggest possible alternatives. Write about 50 words. You have 10 minutes.

Hi Carlos, have you got the latest information about the chief's resignation? I’m mulling over stepping up and presenting my candidature. I know a kinda dissatisfaction is turning up, and I think I’m up to hammer it out. Furthermore, it might be a good way to take over some tasks I think come to naught currently.

Write a letter to the association presenting your candidature.

120-150 words. You have 20 minutes.

To Whom It May Concern,

Unfortunately, I have heard about our chief's resignation. I am sure it will have turned out to be quite hard and on account of a compelling reason. To be fair, not for a moment had I thought about ruling this association. However, the last events that occurred made me set out with the aim of finding an alternative. So, hereby, I address you to postulate myself as the new chief of the Entrepreneurs. I engage myself to put a great deal of effort into carrying out this activity, not leaving anyone behind.

Last but not least, I would like to hear the rest of the members' opinions before taking on my new charge.

Yours sincerely

Ulrich
