Subject: Next housemate

Dear Big Brother producer,

My name is Laura Prieto, and I am from Spain. I am writing to apply for the position of new housemate for the International version of Big Brother.

As you can see from my 2-minute video recording, I have experience in this kind of TV program. I have participated in five reality shows in different countries. The last one was in Mexico two years ago, doing risky activities.

I studied English in a private school in Wales because my family had moved to London for work reasons when I was a child. My English is perfect, and I can talk without problems.

I have been interested in being a part of Big Brother since I was a teenager. I am sociable, dynamic, and enthusiastic. I don’t come into conflicts because I prefer to talk and approach postures. However, I disagree with the injustices.

I consider myself a good chef and I have experience in weekly tests to win food. I am good at risk games with teams.

Furthermore, I would be grateful if you would consider my application to be one of the housemates.

Over the years, security has been an important point in our lives. Nowadays, it is a normal fact that surveillance cameras or CCTV are present in public places like shopping malls, corners in the street, or at home. They have become very common in countries that have advanced technology.

As far as I am concerned, surveillance cameras improve our security and help us in different moments in our lives. 

In the first point, CCTV cameras provide public security. Using them, you could keep your personal property safe. In particular, the police can prevent crimes from happening. Cameras can reduce crime and vandalism. In addition to this, surveillance cameras have helped in an important murder in public. They are evidence in a trial. This makes streets safer for citizens.

On the other hand, some people believe that they violate our privacy. When you are walking down the street, driving your car, you will be monitored with cameras placed in public. However, safety is more important, and prevention is always better than suffering from the consequences.

In conclusion, CCTV cameras can be very helpful in our lives, even though it has a different point of view in public. Safety should be put in the first position in order to be safe due to we live in a constant threat of attack. Security in public places should always be put on the top priority.
