📘 B1 Teacher's Guide: Tips & Models

Strategy: Utilizar conectores sencillos (First, Also, But) y estructuras de opinión claras. El objetivo es la claridad y cubrir todos los puntos de las notas.

Key Vocab (B1): Truth, lies, share, believe, headline, viral, reliable.

B1 Model Answer (Essay): Nowadays, we read news every day on our phones. However, in my opinion, it is often difficult to know if a story is real or fake.

On the one hand, social media is very fast. Apps like TikTok or Instagram show us news immediately. The problem is that many people share stories without checking if they are true.

On the other hand, we should always check the source. For example, a famous newspaper is more reliable than a random website.

In my view, we should be careful and read different websites before believing a headline. In conclusion, the internet is great for information, but we must use it intelligently to avoid lies.

🎓 Level 2: B2

  • The impact on democracy and elections.

  • Freedom of speech.

  • (Your own idea).

Part 2: The Report (B2 Elective)

Word count: 140–190 words

Task: You work for a media agency. Your manager wants a report on how teenagers consume news. Explain the benefits (speed, variety) and the risks (clickbait, lack of facts). Suggest how to improve their "media literacy."
