Key Vocab (B1): Plot, main character, special effects, bestseller, ending, worth watching.
B1 Model Answer (Essay):
Many popular stories today are both books and movies. In my opinion, both have advantages, but I usually prefer reading the book first.
On the one hand, books are great for your imagination. When you read, you can imagine the faces of the characters and the places. Often, the book has more details than the film.
On the other hand, movies are much faster. If you don't have much time, you can enjoy a great story in only two hours. Also, modern blockbusters have incredible special effects.
In my view, the movie is never as good as the book. In conclusion, I recommend reading the story first to enjoy all the details.

Key Vocab (B2): Predictable, gripping, box office hit, critics, masterpiece, overhyped, genre.
B2 Model Answer (Essay):
In recent years, the cinema industry has been dominated by massive blockbusters and superhero franchises. While these films are financially successful, many critics argue they are negatively affecting the quality of modern movies.
Firstly, there is a noticeable lack of originality. Most big productions today are sequels, prequels, or remakes. Consequently, smaller, more creative films struggle to find space in theaters. If studios only focus on what is "safe" and profitable, the art of storytelling will eventually suffer.
Secondly, these movies often prioritize visual spectacle over a deep, meaningful plot. Although the special effects are breathtaking, the characters are frequently superficial and the endings are too predictable. A true masterpiece should make the audience think, not just entertain them with explosions.
However, it is true that these films save the industry by bringing millions of people to the cinema. In my opinion, there should be a balance between commercial hits and independent art.
To conclude, while blockbusters are fun, we must support original stories to ensure that cinema remains a diverse and rich form of art.
